Det-Tronics FlexSonic Acoustic Gas Leak Detector
AC100 sensor and ATX10 transmitter for detecting ultrasound from pressurised gas leaks in outdoor and process-safety applications.
FlexSonic monitors the acoustic signature of pressurised leaks without waiting for a gas cloud to reach a point sensor. Its 24-band analysis and Learn function help distinguish leak noise from other ultrasonic sources.
Detection method: acoustic leak alarm. It does not identify the gas or measure ppm / %LEL concentration.

Coverage depends on leak pressure and rate, opening geometry, background noise and site obstructions. Reference radii in the instructions are not guaranteed coverage for every installation.
Where Is It Used?
It adds a leak-alarm layer around compressors, gas processes and outdoor industrial areas. Suitability for methane, hydrogen or another pressurised gas is assessed through leak acoustics and site conditions, rather than concentration measurement. Consider it alongside point or open-path gas detectors.
