TWA and Long-Term Gas-Vapour Measurement with GSP Automatic Air Sampling Pump
GASTEC active TWA dosimetric detector tubes are used with the GSP series automatic air sampling pump to draw air samples at a constant flow rate over a specified period to monitor gas or vapour concentrations in workplace and ambient atmospheres. Active TWA dosimetric measurement tubes aid in monitoring low or moderate concentrations of gases and vapours by drawing an air sample at a specified flow rate and duration using a GASTEC GSP series automatic air sampling pump. Constant flow sampling ensures a reproducible sample volume in occupational hygiene, personal exposure, indoor air, and environmental air quality studies.
Correct tube selection should be made based on the target chemical, expected concentration, sampling flow rate, and measurement duration. In some P/TP/S series GASTEC tubes, two tubes are used together, so the number of measurements per box may differ from the number of tubes. The current tube data sheet and GSP pump instructions should be checked prior to measurement.
