Plan the Right Configuration

SELMA MPB2 is a vehicle-mounted laser methane measurement system designed for bumper installation during mobile gas leak inspections. Utilizing a dedicated suction pump, it draws ambient air samples to measure methane (CH4) concentrations through optical laser absorption. According to manufacturer specifications, the unit delivers a high sensitivity of 0.03 ppm with a rapid measurement cycle of 0.04 seconds. Operating on a 12 V power supply, it is specified for mobile survey operations at vehicle driving speeds of up to 50 km/h.

Field detection depends on route, speed, wind, ground conditions and inlet placement. The specified maximum speed is not a recommended survey speed for every site.
