The FCS (Flexible Control System) Gas Detector Control System is designed to accept inputs from digital and/or analogue transmitters and/or peripheral devices (in various combinations) using Modbus® RTU RS-485 or 4-20 mA analogue inputs. The FCS Gas Detector Control System is an advanced, high-performance controller offering multi-channel configurations to monitor toxic, combustible, and refrigerant gases. It provides versatile control functionality for non-hazardous, non-explosion-rated commercial and light industrial applications. The FCS, is available in 4-channel, 8-channel, 32-channel, and 128-channel models and is available with Modbus® RTU RS-485 WAN output or BACnet® MS/TP RS-485 WAN output options for communicating with a Building Automation System (BAS). All models feature a full-colour LCD resistive touchscreen with an LED panel indicating channel configuration status, relay status, and fault conditions of alarms, four configurable SPDT dry contact relays with field-configurable time delays and trigger levels, an intuitive menu system, password protection, advanced logic control, priority/zoning capabilities, a USB port for datalogging and firmware updates, and data logging. The FCS features flexible configuration settings for analogue outputs and supports variable frequency drives (VFD) operating via 4-20 mA and Modbus®. Optional additional features include analogue inputs and/or analogue outputs, top-mounted strobe, locking door, manual shut-off switch, and water-tight door-mounted audible alarm. International Standards and Approvals With IP54 protection class, it provides protection against water splashes and dust ingress in industrial environments. Manufactured in accordance with SIL and EN61508 Standards. All models can be configured to comply with California Title-24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards. Specification details must be provided at the time of ordering, and additional settings can be applied in the field when required. Alarm Logging Feature Maintains a datalog of all alarms for more than 30 days, allowing access to historical alarm logs. Connectivity Features - 4 SPDT output relays, 1 USB port input, two visual and audible signal inputs compatible with up to 24V 0.4A.

A robust, high-visibility alarm consisting of a single flashing LED lamp with an operating life of 100,000 hours.
Protecting against impact, theft, and tampering, the metal enclosure permits gas and air ingress through front apertures. Easily installed and removed, this enclosure cannot be fitted while a manual shut-off switch is installed on the device.
This optional component can be factory-fitted during production. Combined with the password-protected menu, it prevents unauthorised access to the control panel. Supplied with two keys.
