Every New Year heralds renewed hopes. I would like to begin my remarks by wishing that 2021 brings health and happiness to all.
This year was quite a challenging year for NOVEL as well as for the world; we witnessed many adverse events etched into our memories. We experienced earthquakes, faced one of the world's largest fires in Australia; the virus, which we initially believed would not reach us here, locked down both our loved ones and the world, and many hardships experienced alongside this left bitter memories for all of us regarding this year.

As the largest congress and exhibition in the Turkish natural gas sector, held this year with the theme "Our Common Energy, Our Common Future" on 17–18 October 2019 at the Haliç Congress Centre in Istanbul, we took our place at stand F13 at the "8th INGAS International Natural Gas Congress and Exhibition" to present our Gas Monitoring / Detection / Measurement Systems and new technologies in the natural gas and OSH sectors.
