RESISTANT AGAINST ALL ADVERSE FIELD CONDITIONS: The MGT Personal Multi-Gas Detector has a highly compact, lightweight, yet extremely rugged construction against adverse field conditions (highly resistant to water and dust with high IP67 ingress protection!) Furthermore, the instrument is certified for use in ATEX - IECEx explosion-risk areas.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PROVIDING DAYS OF OPERATION: In this way, it does not run out of charge while worn by the worker, eliminating field difficulties. The instrument is supplied with a charging kit in the box; single/multi-unit charging and bump-test stations are also available as options. Daily bump testing can also be carried out while docked. A single charge provides 60 days of battery life with the N-type infrared version, and over 25 hours of operating time with the P-type catalytic sensor version.
VISUAL, AUDIBLE AND VIBRATING ALARMS: The instrument provides loud (>90dB), illuminated visual, and vibrating configurable alarm options that inform the worker of dangerous conditions during a gas leak. Alarm levels can be configured across multiple stages by the user as required.
EASY AND FAST CALIBRATION: The instrument can be verified via gas testing within seconds using a simple hose connection and the adaptor included in the box. If more efficient operation is required, the optional docking station provides both charging and daily bump testing.
DATA LOGGING: The instrument can store over 30 alarms in memory based on detection date. Data can be downloaded to a PC via an external IR kit for reporting
