Air Quality Monitor and Particulate Measurement Instrument

The EVM-7 is a multi-function compact instrument capable of air quality monitoring and particulate measurement. Measurement data can be monitored in real time on the instrument display and reported in detail post-measurement using the advanced Quest DMS software. You can perform Dust Particulate Measurement, VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), Toxic Gas Measurement according to selected toxic gas sensors, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Relative Humidity, Temperature, and Air Velocity measurements on a single instrument.

  • Simultaneous Measurement of Gas Concentrations Effective solution in a single instrument; selectable plug-and-play toxic gas sensors, built-in CO2 and VOC sensors are available.

  • Built-in Particle Size Selection Very easy PM2.5, PM4.0, PM10.0 particulate selection and TSP setting directly on the instrument. Eliminates the need for instrument disassembly or external cyclones.

  • 90° Light Photometer (Light Scattering Method) Real-time particulate measurement; provides instantaneous monitoring graphically or numerically via its large display.

  • Built-in Sampling Pump for Gravimetric Analysis 25 mm or 37 mm filter cassettes can be used to collect particulate samples for laboratory testing.

Technical Specifications

PID and CO2 technical source: . PID accuracy/repeatability values are specified at the calibration point relative to isobutylene. CO2 sensor range must be verified according to the instrument production date and installed sensor.

Measurement and Standards Approach

Direct-reading photometers are powerful tools for rapid site assessment and trend analysis. In regulatory gravimetric assessments of personal exposure, EN 689 and relevant sampling/analytical methods must also be considered. As aerosol type, density, and optical characteristics can affect results, a site/gravimetric correction factor should be applied when necessary.
